She has transformed billion-dollar systems for 800k+ students and 20k+ employees. She’s worked closely with local, state, and national elected officials and is passionate about strengthening communities through education especially for vulnerable student groups. She holds a doctorate from Harvard University and regularly shares her expertise through presentations, publications, executive coaching, and speaking engagements. She is currently a Senior Scientist for Gallup, Executive Coach for ISA, and a former Senior Advisor for Amira Learning.

Mark Angel is CEO and Co-founder of Amira Learning, a venture-funded startup bringing the world’s first intelligent reading assistant to K-5 classrooms. He previously served as CTO at Renaissance Learning and worked on successful reading apps like Accelerated Reader and STAR. With 30 years of experience in Silicon Valley, he founded successful startups Papyrus Technology and Knova and holds over 10 patents in natural language processing.
